I won’t begrudge you. Both fit the bill and could surely be used interchangeably. But Nike LeBron X Low Knicks is the one I assume we’ll see most, so that’s what we’ll dub it today. The almost entirely two-tone shoe opts for an orange upper, set off by plenty of blue on the tongue, inner-lining, Dynamic Flywire, Max Air unit and outsole, ensuring the shoe is as conspicuous as it is contrast-heavy. (This was originally dubbed the “Dark Armory Slate,” but that now appears to be inaccurate.)The highlight of today’s round of photos is a more detailed look at the shoe’s impressive cushioning system. In lieu of the full-length visible Zoom bag of the LeBron X — the first of its kind — a full-length drop-in Zoom Air midsole is employed, allowing the foot to sit a bit lower and more immediately atop the cushioning.Beyond that, we see more of the hotly-anticipated same: Armorposite piecing along the side, Hyperfuse construction through the middle, Flywire reinforcements throughout.Stay tuned for an official unveiling of what’ll likely be the most technologically advanced hoops shoe ever. It’s likely not far off.Nike LeBron XIParachute Gold/Arctic Green-Dark Loden-BlackStyle #: 616175-700Photos courtesy of Kicksenvy.Previous story 2013 Nike PGA Championship Apparel, Shoes for Tiger, Rory …Next story Heads Up: Doernbecher x Nike Air Force 1 COLIN Releases 8/3Related PostsNike LeBron 11 Low BISCAYNE Release Info, Official PhotosSeptember 2, 2014Nike LeBron 11 MAISON DU LEBRON | Devil’s in the DetailsAugust 20, 2014Nike LeBron 11 Low BISCAYNE Release Date, PhotosAugust 19, 2014Nike Maison Du LeBron Collection | Release Info, Official PhotosAugust 18, 2014FacebookSearch NikeBlog.comRecent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!Recent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!MIssionTo provide the most up to date news, images, and opinions on today's top sneaker company.FIND ARTICLESHomeAboutAdvertise on NBContactPrivacyTwitterFacebookRSSNikeBlog.com is not affiliated with the Nike, Inc. brand in any way, shape, or form. LeBron and Kobe compete on the court, so why not off? I wrote here a few days ago that two PE colorways of the Zoom Kobe IV would be dropping at House of Hoops tomorrow, March 7th. The two colorways are a USC PE and a Rice High School PE, meaning a gold/red combo (USC) and a green/yellow/black (Rice HS). Now it seems LeBron will have two PE’s release at House of Hoops tomorrow as well, and they’re basically the same colors. The two pairs will take inspiration from the retro Cavs uniforms LeBron frequently dons, a deep red and yellow combination very reminiscent of USC, and a green/gold colorway created for LeBron’s alma mater, St. Vincent St. Mary HS. The latter is most certainly the hot item of the group, opting for a primarily white upper with some green over the midsole and toe strap and finished off with gold accents. I’d really be interested to know which shoes sell better tomorrow, the LeBron PE’s or the Kobes. If common sense prevails it’ll be the LeBron’s, but that’s a big “if.” But I digress. Zoom LeBron VI St. Vincent St. Mary/Retro Cavs and Zoom Kobe IV USC/Rice release tomorrow, March 7th and House of Hoops.#gallery-1 {margin: auto;}#gallery-1 .gallery-item {float: left;margin-top: 10px;text-align: center;width: 33%;}#gallery-1 img {border: 2px solid #cfcfcf;}#gallery-1 .gallery-caption {margin-left: 0;}/* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
