There’s been some buzz about the Air Max LeBron VII grey/orange lately, with one site posting some really awkward pictures with the the shoes on some dude’s feet. (Sockless, nonetheless.) There’s a preview available today of the shoe without some cat’s feet in them, so I’m pretty excited. No official word on these yet, but it’s looking like you can expect these in early July at the latest. Many, many pictures after the jump. As we saw with the LeBron 10, the LeBron 11 will again hit retailers with the performance materials stripped out in favor of fashion-oriented elements, and today we get our best look at what’s likely to be the first colorway to hit retailers, the Nike LeBron 11 EXT Blue/Black. (Beyond the materials, the EXT otherwise sports the same silhouette as the standard LeBron 11, as opposed to the LeBron 11 NSW Lifestyle which is an entirely distinct model that merely uses the XI as inspiration.)While this shoe has quickly gained the Presleyan nickname “Blue Suede,” closer examination seems to indicate something not quite — felt perhaps, or at least synthetic suede — replacing the usual ‘Posite and Hyperfuse. It’s no less monochromatic either way, with the upper cloaked in blue, standing in stark contrast to black on the outsole, inner-lining and leather tongue. No word yet on a release date, but it’s likely not far off. Stay tuned for updates, and check out plenty of photos below.Photos via Long 7.

In fact, we’re now inside a month from the launch of the colorway that immediately takes the reins of “Best LeBron 11 so far.”Inspired by the eponymous army of statues discovered in Xi’an, China — an army of statues that’s over 2,000 years old — the shoe’s neutral grey upper borrows from the Army’s current, faded coloring, while striking blue and green accents are informed by the original colors of the statues back during their third-century-BC birth.Adding a level of intricate detailing to the already-jaw-dropping colorway, the shoe features a reflective pattern on the Swoosh and ‘Posite portions, representative of the Terracotta Warriors’ linked, plated armor, while a graphic adorning the inner-lining is a nod to Bronze Age art, the era in which the Warriors were made. The Nike LeBron 11 Terracotta Warrior releases stateside November 27.Photos via CT.Previous story Jordan 6 Rings ELEPHANT Black/OrangeNext story Heads Up: Nike KD VI Away Releases TomorrowRelated PostsNike LeBron 11 Low CHINA Release 9/25September 25, 2014Nike LeBron 11 WATCH THE THRONE | One Last LookSeptember 24, 2014Nike LeBron 11 Low CHINA | Official Photos as Release NearsSeptember 22, 2014Nike WHAT THE LeBron 11 Release 9/13September 12, 2014FacebookSearch NikeBlog.comRecent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!Recent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!MIssionTo provide the most up to date news, images, and opinions on today's top sneaker company.FIND ARTICLESHomeAboutAdvertise on NBContactPrivacyTwitterFacebookRSSNikeBlog.com is not affiliated with the Nike, Inc. brand in any way, shape, or form.
