Inspired by the Jay-Z and Kanye West album of the same name, the “Watch the Throne” design motif debuted on the Nike LeBron 9, an exemplary look that married together the unique style of LeBron’s ninth signature shoe with his affinity for hip-hop.And the theme has recurred occasionally, notably on the LeBron 11. So today, as that model?takes its final bow and the LeBron 12 prepares for the spotlight, we take another look at that most coveted, yet (unfortunately) most exclusive of styles — the Nike LeBron 11 Watch the Throne.First glimpsed back in March, the shoe mixes a black upper with gold Swoosh and decorative lace-lock, while wild multicoloring pops on the inner-lining and laces. It never hit retail, but, man; if only.Check out plenty of shots below, and start preparing yourself for the LeBron 12, dropping next month.Photos via Barney Wang.
