After months of hype, one of the most anticipated LeBrons of the year is nearly in stores, with the Nike LeBron 9 ‘Freegums’ release date officially set for December 31st (it’s already hit at some retailers), with the shoe hitting brick-and-mortar sellers that day and nikestore.com earlier, at 12a EST. Featuring a largely black and white palette with some contrasting red (a look that had some dubbing it the ‘Scarface’), the shoe sports a unique print, created by Miami-based artist Freegums, covering the inner-lining as well as the tissue paper that comes in the box. Hit the jump for a few looks and expect these in stores on Saturday. Colorways of LeBron James’s next signature shoe continue to pour out since our first official look a few weeks back. This time it’s the Nike LeBron X Wind Chill, release date as yet unknown. The shoe sports two-tone blue over the upper, with the lighter mesh panels surrounded by royal blue over the rest of the upper, and plenty of white adding clean, simple contrast. Stay tuned for updates and hit the jump for a couple more shots, including a nice look at the shoe’s outsole. Photos via TheClosetCollectors.com // // ]]>
