nike kobe 9
Yesterday brought the first in-depth Nike LeBron 9 preview, showing off a pretty sharp look for the upcoming season (assuming there is in fact a season), and today we get a second, on-foot look. Most conspicuous on the new model is the carbon fiber textile along the back-half of the shoe, adding strength and flexibility, but the inconspicuous is pretty impressive as well. The shoe features Hyperfuse composite on the front of the upper, reducing weight and enhancing breathability, while embedded Flywire maximizes stability. To finish it off, a 180° Max Air unit adds superlative cushioning in the heel, while forefoot Zoom Air ensures cushioning and responsiveness. We’re expecting the Nike LeBron 9 release date around October, but anything could happen with the lockout, so stay tuned. Photo via hoopchina.com
The Heat fell a few games short of adding another NBA championship to the ol’ trophy case, but Nike’s footwear celebration of that hypothetical Heat ‘ship will see a launch all the same, less the “Championship Pack” rhetoric. The Nike LeBron 11 Elite Red/Gold release date is set for Friday, August 1.Designed to laud another LBJ “W,” the shoe pairs metallic gold accents with red through the rest of the Fuse-and-mesh upper, with a gold-speckled icy outsole sitting beneath, a level below the Lunarlon and Zoom Air cushioning. In addition to hitting select shops Friday, Nike.com will stock the shoe in limited quantities at 8am EDT.Nike LeBron 11 Elite SEUniversity Red/Metallic GoldStyle #: 695226-6701 August 2014$295

So today, as that model?takes its final bow and the LeBron 12 prepares for the spotlight, we take another look at that most coveted, yet (unfortunately) most exclusive of styles — the Nike LeBron 11 Watch the Throne.First glimpsed back in March, the shoe mixes a black upper with gold Swoosh and decorative lace-lock, while wild multicoloring pops on the inner-lining and laces. It never hit retail, but, man; if only.Check out plenty of shots below, and start preparing yourself for the LeBron 12, dropping next month.Photos via Barney Wang.Previous story Watch: Giving Away Free Jordans to Strangers in ComptonNext story Nike SB Dunk DISPOSABLE | Celebrating Ten Years of the BookRelated PostsNike LeBron 11 Low CHINA Release 9/25September 25, 2014Nike LeBron 11 Low CHINA | Official Photos as Release NearsSeptember 22, 2014Nike WHAT THE LeBron 11 Release 9/13September 12, 2014Nike WHAT THE LeBron 11 Draws Near; Take Another LookSeptember 10, 2014FacebookSearch NikeBlog.comRecent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!Recent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!MIssionTo provide the most up to date news, images, and opinions on today's top sneaker company.FIND ARTICLESHomeAboutAdvertise on NBContactPrivacyTwitterFacebookRSSNikeBlog.com is not affiliated with the Nike, Inc. brand in any way, shape, or form.
