The rumors have been circulating awhile, so this may not come as a big shock, but now we can make it official: The Nike LeBron X Low Watermelon release date is set for August 17.A perfect summer colorway, the shoe sports a predominantly two-tone look, with a pinkish-red Hyperfuse upper contrasted by green on the inner-lining, Flywire strands, outsole and Swoosh-speckling and -outline.It’s not quite as good as actually eating watermelon but, man, it may be a close second. Retail, as always, is set for $165. Quantities shouldn’t be limited, so acquiring a pair won’t be overly arduous, in all likelihood.Nike Air Max LeBron X LowBright Mango/Bright Mango-Gamma GreenStyle #: 579765-80117 August 2013$165Photos courtesy of Long 7.
At the moment, the Miami Heat sit 21 games above .500 and four games out of first place in the East, a conference in which 7-games-below-500 still merits inclusion in the playoffs. So, out on a limb here, it’s probably safe to go ahead and pencil in the Heat. That being said, today we get a look at another colorway of LeBron’s inevitable postseason shoe, the Nike LeBron 11 Elite Black/Metallic Gold. The remixed XI sports a black-on-black upper through the Hyperfuse and mesh, with shiny metallic gold standing in for carbon fiber, black adorning the Hyperposite piecing, white through the armored Swoosh and contrast red on the inner-lining and Flywire. Finally, an icy translucent blue outsole completes the aesthetic. No release info on the books yet, but with the playoffs only about two months away, further details should be available soon. Stay tuned.Photos via KoD.
