Considering how high-profile the school typically is and the fact that they play in the MAC, alongside such athletic juggernauts as the Toledo Rockets and Ohio Bobcats, it’s nothing short of a miracle that they lucked their way into regularly getting PE’s of LeBron’s signature shoes. Expected to release in the next month or two, the Nike Air Max LeBron VII Akron Zips PE features a navy upper with gold flywire, a gold-outlined white Swoosh and a white midsole. Blue and gold are always a great combination for shoes and this is no exception. You can grab a pair today at MarqueeSole.com, or look to NikeBlog for updates as to an exact release date. Summer continues looking better and better as today we get another look at LeBron’s lowtop, the latest in an annual tradition of sleeker, slimmer, lower editions of the King’s signature model, perfect for the warm-weather months. Today we look to perhaps the best colorway we’ve seen thus far, the Nike LeBron 11 Low Black/Teal-Pink. But don’t call it the “South Beach”! Or do, I don’t care. What am I, the nickname police?Teal comprises the shoe’s Hyperfuse overlays, midsole, inner-lining and heel-counter, providing a sharp contrast to the black mesh upper. Pink then works the Swoosh outline, sparse but striking, and a sort of marbled mint appears inside the full-length Max Air unit.No word yet on a release date, so stay tuned for updates, but early-summer is a good bet based on the other LeBron 11 Low launches.Photos via Winzz/Niketalk.
