Extending the Galaxy theme that started around this year’s NBA All-Star Weekend, but has since become one of the hottest concepts in custom sneakers, here’s a look at the Nike LeBron 9 Galaxy Foamposite custom. Using a LeBron 9 iD with the Foamposite wing option, the artist covered the shoe in a beautiful mix of blues and blacks, with the occasional contrasting star on the upper. Hit the jump for plenty of looks, and head to eBay now if you want to bid on the pair; presumably the only pair in existence. Created for LeBron himself for a charity softball game, this is the Nike LeBron 7 cleat. (His shoe was called the Air Max LeBron VII back then, but I think with the last couple of LeBrons we’ve moved past that naming style.) The shoe actually resembles a football cleat as much as a baseball shoe, but with LBJ’s history with football he may just prefer that style. Anyway, while this is arguably LeBron’s best model to date, and it would look great on baseball and football fields worldwide, don’t expect that to happen.
